About My Reverso Story

# Built by collectors, for collectors.

Like a Reverso, this archive has two sides: the stories collectors tell, and a reference for everything Reverso.

Experience

## My Reverso Story

Two sides, like the watch: the stories collectors tell, and a reference for everything Reverso; then what the crest means: a horse, two polo mallets, a loupe and a quill, inside an Art Deco shield.

My Reverso Story is an independent, fan-made archive of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, built by and for its collectors. Like the watch, it has two sides: the stories collectors tell about their own Reversos, and a reference for everything Reverso. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Jaeger-LeCoultre.

## Two sides, like the watch

**The stories.** Collectors write about their own watches in their own words: how a Reverso reached them, what is engraved or enamelled on its back, and why it matters. Every story is told by the watch’s owner. Read them in [Stories](https://myreversostory.com/stories) and meet their owners in [Collectors](https://myreversostory.com/collectors).

**The reference.** Alongside the stories, the archive gathers what is known about the Reverso itself: the [models](https://myreversostory.com/models) made since 1931, the [calibres](https://myreversostory.com/calibres) inside them, [limited, market and anniversary editions](https://myreversostory.com/limited-editions), [pièces uniques, commemorative editions and artistic series](https://myreversostory.com/stories), and the watch’s [heritage](https://myreversostory.com/history).

## How collector stories are published

Every collector story is submitted by the watch's owner through the form on the [home page](https://myreversostory.com/#submit), with photos of the front and the back. Each submission is read by hand before it appears on the site; nothing is published automatically.

The stories are the owners' own first-person accounts, entered by the site's curators from what collectors send in. Email addresses are never published and are used only to reach the owner about the submission.

## Where the facts come from

Historical notes are drawn from public reporting on the watch's history and innovations since 1931. Entries name their sources where a specific claim needs one: auction catalogues such as Artcurial's 2011 Jaeger-LeCoultre sale, collector references such as Basha's guide to Jaeger-LeCoultre, and the press coverage linked on each series page.

References, piece counts and other details vary by market and source, and some are still unverified; the pages say so where it matters. Verify before relying on them.

## Corrections and additions

If you own or can document a piece, spot an error, or have a missing reference or photo, [get in touch through the form](https://myreversostory.com/#submit). Corrections are read by the same people who read every submission.

## For search engines and AI assistants

Every page is served as complete HTML. A plain-text overview is at [/llms.txt](https://myreversostory.com/llms.txt) and the full text of the archive at [/llms-full.txt](https://myreversostory.com/llms-full.txt); most pages also have a Markdown version at the same address ending in `.md`. New collector stories are announced in the [RSS feed](https://myreversostory.com/rss.xml).

Jaeger-LeCoultre and Reverso are trademarks of their owner, used here only to identify the watches discussed.

## The stories aren't finished.

If your Reverso carries an engraving, an enamel, a monogram, or a story about how it reached you, it belongs here.
